An independent alumni association united by the bonds of Kappa Alpha Psi, committed to community leadership and lifelong brotherhood.
The Alpha Lambda Alumni Association is organized to fund local, charitable, community impact, and associated activities for the benefit of the students enrolled at South Carolina State University. Our primary focus will be those students from socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds that also display high achievement. The Alpha Lambda Alumni Association is a registered 501(c)(3) charitable organization with the United States of America, Internal Revenue Service. In pursuance of these purposes, it shall have the powers to carry on any business or other activity which may be lawfully conducted by a corporation organized under the South Carolina and the provisions of the governing Corporations Act in the State.
Our mission is to cultivate and advance the development of young men and women at South Carolina State University. We will serve as a catalyst to their success and encourage achievement in every field of human endeavor. The Association will also promote the spiritual, social, and moral fortitude to accomplish great things now and into their future.
